Domaine de la Madone enjoys a privileged location on the renowned Madone hillside in Fleurie. This unique terroir, composed of pink granite, offers ideal conditions for the flourishing of Gamay, the king of Beaujolais grapes. The generous sunshine and perfect exposure of the vines allow for the production of exceptionally high-quality grapes, guaranteeing expressive and elegant wines.
Keen to preserve this heritage, we cultivate our vines with respect for the environment, as evidenced by our High Environmental Value (HVE) level 3 certification, organic certification for our Viognier plots, and 3 hectares of Fleurie. This environmental approach is concretely reflected in respectful cultivation practices: manual soil work, natural grass cover between the rows, and sustainable vineyard protection.
The Madone hillside takes its name from the small chapel erected in 1866 at the top of the hill, built by the winegrowers to protect the vines from powdery mildew. Our great-great-grandfather was among the winegrowers who hauled the statue of the Virgin Mary to the summit with their oxen.

Très beau cadre entouré de vignes. Nous sommes venus plusieurs fois à l’auberge mais cette fois nous avons été déçu par le menu. Peu de saucisson dans la brioche aux saucissons et nous avons connu meilleur pour le coq au vin.

Une très belle découverte ! Nous avons adoré ! C'est copieux, la cuisine est généreuse, et c'est vraiment très bon. Aucune fausse note, de plat en plat nous allons de surprise en surprise, et quel plaisir ! Saucisson brioché, coq au vin.... Et bien entendu le vin est excellent. Le cadre est sympa. Et pour être complet, le personnel est très agréable, on s'occupe vraiment de vous. Merci à toute l'équipe. Je recommande fortement, mais pensez à réserver.

Venues pour la première fois entre amies et le cadre est très agréable vu sur le Beaujolais. Service un peu rapide mais personnel très souriant et aux petits soins. Les brechets sont bons dommage le gratin était froid. Rapport qualité prix correct et cadre et intérieur du restaurant très joli. Préférable de réserver.

We also offer guided tours of our gravity-flow winery cellars, followed by guided tastings (€15 per person), for a fascinating immersion into the world of our family estate. Groups of up to 70 people are welcome by reservation, with customized packages including tastings and local products.
