Vinified and aged in the old way. The robust and powerful “Dame de la Pétoche” Cuvée comes from Old Madone vines. It is then aged for 12 months in French oak barrels. The use of old barrels (4 to 5 years) gives it a fine woodiness which supports and rounds it while preserving its fruitiness. This aging on fine lees feeds it, which makes it an excellent wine for aging. The name Dame de la Pétoche comes from the 1870s. The chapel was very recently built. The Prussians at war with France did not invade the village of Fleurie. The inhabitants then nicknamed the Chapel of the Madone, "Notre Dame de La Pétoche" convinced that she would have made the enemy flee. We have selected our oldest vines to make this wine. They are between 70 and 100 years old. At this age the vines produce few grapes with smaller berries. After traditional vinification, the wine obtained is more concentrated. It's therefore a wine to keep, which will charm you with its finesse and the purity of its fruit. The aged vines have roots that plunge deep into the granite subsoil, the wonderful terroir of the Madone is therefore very intense in this cuvée, which retains its typicity and quality, whatever the vintage. Vintage: 2020 Aged: 8/10 years Food pairing: Bresse poultry with cream, Rack of lamb with thyme flower

First “Viognier” grape planted on the Fleurie terroir and more precisely on the hillside of Madone. This white wine, aged in barrels for 6 months, has a mouth coated with sweetness and fruit with good length and a fresh finish. The cultivation of this sloping plot is done without weedkiller, fully plowed and drawn by hand. Vintage: 2023 Aged: 5 years Food pairing: Aperitif!                       Crispy goat cheese, Salmon trout with herb sauce

The Madone cuvée represents the largest volume of our production. Vinified as a whole harvest with a fermentation of 7 to 8 days, she expresses all the qualities that one would expect from a Fleurie. It is supple and very fruity, the tannins are fine but very present. It can be drunk young, but also improves over time. Vintage: 2024 Aged: 4/5 years Food pairing: Roasted poultry, Blanquette of veal, Sausage in wine
